11.3. The general description of adjustment of wheels

THE GENERAL DATA

Correct adjustment of wheels is very important for good controllability of the car and prolongation of service life of tyres. Adjustment of forward wheels usually consists of three components: disorder, a convergence and a corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня.

The convergence and disorder of back wheels are not subject to adjustment. For carrying out of exact adjustment of wheels it is recommended to address to experts.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For adjustment of a convergence of forward wheels it is necessary to tighten up regulators of steering draughts.

2. Turn off fixing nuts (are specified by arrows) and adjust disorder of forward wheels, having turned the shock-absorber plug on the top fastening of a rack of a suspension bracket.
